This pad is pretty full, a little on the fill side ask me. I was hoping for a more natural density, but it wasn't too thick or anything. The band itself seems comfortable on the head as my head is smaller (21 inches) and I really could have used more velcro on the closure to make it fit me nice and snug. It wasn't too bad because I will wear a bandage with a device to keep it in place. There were a few tangles with minimal shedding as I combed through with my fingers and parted some of the waves. My hair is a little shiny, but it's not bad enough to be a deal breaker. In general, for me it will be a good option for lazy everyday life.
