For some reason I couldn't get Realtek Audio Manager to recognize the microphone when using the included splitter. I've read on several forums that this is a Realtek problem, but it's still a BIG problem if you plan to use this for online gaming and conferencing. For solid headphones with good sound quality - at this price - definitely not a bad buy. The travel case is comfortable, the cable itself is quite durable, and even after moderately heavy use there isn't a cable short at the headphone or plug that regular budget headphones can suffer from. Pros: - Lightweight but durable - Comfortable - Rubber earbuds can be removed if you don't like them - Good sound quality Cons: - Problems with microphone detection - Rubber earbuds are annoying if you don't like them (continuously fall out of your ears in some situations) - The jack is included covered in thick plastic, making it difficult to plug in some devices without an extension cord (an extension cord is included, but if you lose it or it has a short cord, you could be out of luck). All in all a really good everyday headphone driver. I personally prefer in-ear headphones, but in situations where I need in-ear headphones, I don't need another pair after that - at least not for long.
