I don't consider myself an audiophile, but I do listen to a lot of music. Those who are true audiophiles have a remarkable ability to hear higher frequencies and can tell the difference in sound quality between devices that use different cables to transmit music. I wanted a cheap desktop music player so I could listen to music while I worked or played. I wanted an item that had bluetooth, was not embarrassing to turn on, and looked good. Everything worked for me in theory, the sound is nice, there's "bass" as some people like huge ones, don't expect how the boy's nine will not play, but there are soft and juicy bottoms, and they're enough for a little room of 15-20 sq. M, no more need, the neighbors will come over to hang out. I wasn't constrained by money; I could have bought the same r2700 worth, but their size would have necessitated using half the table. There is so much headroom, making these the ideal desktop speakers. I believe they will be sufficient for my needs, and I intend to use them as the primary sound system for my television. At first, I knew what to expect and was not disappointed; if you're after Hi-fi sound, you'll have to search elsewhere; this is not the price, and the quality of the sound here is comparable to that of a crashed Boeing 777. And of course, before you buy speakers, listen to them at the store; I did not, even though I should have listened to them because I had anticipated similar results. In the grand scheme of things, I couldn't be happier. I'm writing again to tell you that you shouldn't plan on very many low frequencies and instead aim for r2700 or above.
