At first I bought and tried several other brands and they didn't seem made with the dog's roughness in mind and they all broke after a few uses. This raincoat is the exact opposite, well made, with plenty of room to adjust both straps and the seams are sewn solidly. The pre-cut harness hole works well and makes it easy to attach my dog right through her raincoat. My dog seemed to really enjoy staying dry in the Tennessee rain but still cool in the Tennessee humidity this time. Not to mention that the first time I wore it, my dog received multiple compliments for looking so cute and stylish. Even Daisy seemed happy with her new ability to stay dry and noticed when we got back inside. This is a great investment for those who love their dog and feel guilty about getting wet while staying dry under an umbrella.
