I wanted to love these. And I did. Buy they were way way too stretchy. When you first put them on they fit, but then just walking around they would start falling down. Don't even need to unbutton them to take them off. I would say to order a size down, BUT ordering my normal size already had the front pockets stretched so you could see the inner lining. I imagine a size down would make it even worse. I even ordered them twice hoping I had just gotten a reject pair the first time and, alas, the second pair was cut the same and just as stretchy.
