It's a short distance but long enough for a decently thrilling race. Several reviews mention cars getting stuck at the end of the track. This can be fixed by taking the standard orange section of the track and cutting it in half. Attach one half each to the connectors provided at the end of the treadmill. Cars now roll onto these halves after exiting instead of getting stuck, making it an inaccurate winner. The set is easy to fold. When folded, the top of the set fits 6 cars. You can expand the garage and park the car on the lift. Flexible plastic parts allow you to "fill up” and "wash” cars. The lift at the back of the set allows you to drive cars onto the lift and take them to the starting gate. They roll down the elevator. You can click on one of the flags next to the cars and roll them. Do it slowly though and you'll find that one of the cars has a slight lead. The chain falls apart easily, but repairs take less than 5 seconds. There is only one car in the set, so you cannot drive two cars at the same time. Assembly from the box takes about 15 minutes, 14 of which are in the sticker. The large main sticker is upside down when the web is unfolded. Overall my opinion on this set is bad. If you are a racing enthusiast over the age of four, buy something else. Inaccurate determination of the flag winner plus false starts, short track, lots of imagination needed plus stickers make this set useless.
