Review on 🧹 Cordless Hard Floor Vacuum Cleaner with Recyclable Cleaning Mop Pad - DOUMIGO KB-9009A by Nathan Webber

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Lifeguard in the kitchen! Luckily we were able to fix it!

When I first saw this I thought it looked like a toy and I thought it wouldn't help much compared to my other mop that doubles as a wet mop and Duster can act. However, I've used it countless times over the past few days! I spent a lot of time cleaning and steaming my Mexican terracotta base and then I started baking ahead of Father's Day. I tend to be a messy baker and the bottom is always covered in flour, sugar and powdered sugar all over. Plus we suddenly have an inexplicable leak somewhere - could be anything from a dishwasher to a fridge (hope it's not the lead stove of a 55-year-old house), so water pops up here and there and can easily hit the ground and be tracked will turn into flour-based "dirt" if not cleaned. Every time I spilled something I just grabbed this little mop, turned on the vacuum and kazzam - the flour was gone! A small puddle of water appears and the same! I use the mop as a mop (no need to add water) and the floor is clean again. Thankfully in this heat it dries instantly and the pad they supply with the mop helps with that. Tucked away in a corner or broom closet, this little thing is light and handy. I haven't emptied it yet, so can't comment on that - and I wish it had four mopping pads instead of two, but it's my new best friend when I'm baking in the kitchen! Update: Ah! I hired someone to clean it up and she basically almost broke this wonderful tool in half trying to force it to work. It's not really meant to be anything other than a one-piece tool and only comes in two pieces to make shipping cheaper. That means he has a weak point. However, my awesome project manager at my company is here to help! Using several strong pieces of metal, he actually built the structure around the original machine while keeping all the working parts and controls intact. It works the same as before. However, I think the original designers should consider making this tool in one piece and shipping it in a longer box, even if they have to add a few bucks to the price. It's worth it! I felt I had to deduct a star. Please see the photos to see how we repaired it and put it back into service.
