I needed a strong bracket to hang my 65 inch Panasonic plasma. The extra wide mounting plate came in very handy to accommodate the odd spacing between my wall studs. a mounting plate that allowed me to perfectly center the TV despite the odd spacing between the stands. The retractable 32" arms offer a very wide range of viewing angles: VERY solid mount, highly adjustable, quality construction. Cons: Not the cheapest way to get there, directions were adequate but fair. Tip: The bracket attaches to the mounting plate, but can be easily detached by loosening six screws and reattached after the mounting plate is attached to the wall. I would buy it again with great pleasure.
