I have a huge stack of old hard drives that I was hoping to transfer files from before recycling and this adapter seemed like a perfect fit. I've been using Inateck adapters and cases for years and I really wanted a simple adapter that would work with any of my old drives. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work with Windows 10. I tried drives on each of the ports but couldn't get any of them to work. Only SATA drives are recognized and shown in Explorer, but the transfer speed is ridiculous. I could probably write the contents of the disk to 1s and 0s faster than data was transferred (no kidding). Any other type of hard drive just crashes out of explorer. So if you're like me and hoping this is your ticket to retrieving old data, take a lesson from my tutorial and save $30.
