If you are looking for an LED bulb that emits blue light naturally, then this is NOT it. They have a soft white light that is only made blue by the blue glass/plastic envelope surrounding the LEDs. This must be clearly stated in the product description. What happens when the blue ink/paint on a lightbulb fades or wears out over time? They have soft white light instead of blue light. Not what I wanted. But they were cheap - it cost me too much to send them back for a refund; until all this has been clarified financially, i have no purchase price and no light bulb to show. So I kept them. True, they have one redeeming feature - the LEDs are inside, so when you look at the glowing bulb, they look like those old-fashioned lamps from the dawn of the electric light era - a long zigzag. Zag barely glowing type of thread. It's cool, but those pseudo blue LED bulbs aren't what I wanted. I wanted real LED semiconductor chips to produce natural blue light. Not what you get here.
