Review on Legendary Whitetails Flannels Shale Plaid Men's Clothing ... Shirts by Chris Meckler

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Until your girlfriend notices you're shaking, this could be a hipster's dream!

Jokes aside, I like this shirt because the flannel is really soft and the price is right (and it came in a large size which I need for the shirt). When lounging around the home during the cooler months, I prefer to wear an unbuttoned long sleeve shirt over a t-shirt and this shirt has become my favorite. However, it's a thin flannel and no warmer than most of my other button down long sleeve shirts. It's just softer than most of them. I find it fitting in part because they use the word 'camp' in the name as if you're enjoying a roaring campfire in winter wearing this in place of a coat thanks to its added warmth. I'm sure you won't. That being said, I also doubt you'll find a thicker flannel shirt with the same softness at this price point. I think this winter I will stick with this one and next year I will buy a thicker one. It's a good choice for early fall when it's just too chilly to walk around in short sleeves. I seriously considered giving it only three stars as it doesn't offer what a flannel shirt should offer in terms of warmth. Isn't that why you buy a flannel shirt? Then I thought I'd put it back on, albeit with the heat heated higher than I'd like and. Excellent! Get your four stars! But this is not a hiking shirt.
