This is a good, comfortable compression shirt. It's tight but stretches really well for a comfortable fit. It's warm for compression shirts, which I think will work well when the temperature drops. (I wore it with a t-shirt all day today - a typical fall day - and was comfortable both inside and out.) What's odd is that the sleeves are unusually long - about 2 to 3 inches longer than usual. Again, this ensures that this bottom layer extends all the way to the hem of your cuffs in cold weather, but when worn as a main shirt, it tightens on my wrists. At least they are easy and safe to lift on the forearms.
