The light tilts to the left and the clamp is stuck
I originally bought a large white Amber reading lamp from Flow Lamp but it was too big and bulky to call a reading lamp so I returned it, to replace these smaller ones. . The size and design is much better for bedtime reading and the battery life is great but the flexible neck always wants to tilt to the left and after a few months of use the clip wouldn't open and I thought it was already broken . It turned out that the clip was only glued to the base because the foam pad on the base had somehow slid forward exposing the very sticky surface that the top of the clip was glued to.
