Such wonderful lights! Two different light colors and dimmable. I bought it a month ago and use it a bit every day and haven't had to charge it yet! The kit does not include a power socket, but there is a USB cable. A small bag is convenient to carry and protect when you travel.

I bought a similar book lamp that was said to have a calming effect, but at full brightness was too bright to read in a dark bedroom. In this case, just hold the button down and it will dim down to a very low level if desired. I use it with an old Kindle (which doesn't have a built in blue light and I don't want that unless you upgrade to a new and expensive Oasis) and the orange light is great because I fall asleep easily.

The faint orange light it puts out for night reading is great. To turn the light off, however, you have to press the power button a few more times, which will cycle it through the brightest white light setting, no matter how low the setting you had before. Which annoys me and risks waking my partner up with a bright white flash. This defeats the very purpose of using an orange, amber light before bed. I wouldn't recommend this if you want it before bed.

The only thing I don't like about this lamp is that it took me so long to order it. i love everything about it My previous LED book lamp was too bright for night reading. The soft amber light doesn't bother my husband and lets me fall asleep reading its calming effects. I like the dimming function. The white light option is also great when I'm not reading before bed. I was in seventh heaven with this flashlight. It was embarrassing how much I liked this light. I have used it as a bedside lamp and as a night light.
