This is my first pair of running socks and I am very impressed. I've been running a lot more since the pandemic started. A few months ago I started getting blisters on the balls of my feet. I tried adjusting my shoes and feet with other products but nothing worked. I have noticed improvements since purchasing these socks. The padding (especially in the foot area) is excellent and really helped with the blisters. Also, socks do a great job of keeping your feet from moving in your shoes while running. I was able to loosen the laces a bit, which also helped reduce the occurrence of blisters. Aside from helping my blisters, I also love how well the moisture wicking technology works. I tend to sweat a little and these socks keep my feet and shoes dry. I was a bit hesitant at first to spend that kind of money on socks but they are worth it. You'll know right away the first time you put them on your 8.5 inch US shoes. Medium fits well
