I used these hearts for awards in my preschool class. We are reading a book about kindness and friendship called Prints of the Heart. Each time a child showed kindness to a friend, both children would place a conversation foam heart on top of our big heart on the bulletin board. The exercise allows you to develop social emotional skills as well as hand-eye coordination by tearing paper from the back of each heart. I even noticed some of the kids helping their friend remove the backing of the sticker. The children were very motivated by this action and hearts splashed!
