I like the hue but the direction was hard to figure out. Over the years I've invested my fair share in window care and I hate it. So I took the easy route with this lampshade and used the 1st guide and connected the two pieces together, then I got lucky and had this tension rod which I just hooked the lampshade clips to, voila. The shade is very light, but this is not a minus. The company sends additional pieces of hardware for each installation, which is great if you break a piece in the process. The shadow is light filtering but private. The way the weaves fall makes it so you can see through them. I'm looking to buy these for the patio door, maybe I can find someone to install them - I hate messing with wall panels!
