We never had a problem with fleas on our dog until we adopted a kitten this year. It seems that since then, although she was a house cat and didn't have fleas, she suddenly got them. I had a course of medication for my dog that I prescribed hoping it would solve the problem. and it was made for a pooch. poor kitten. so i bought this collar for the durability and price and i am very happy with the results. without hair loss and side effects! Kitty is very thankful that she stays up all night and not itchy! My cat has never worn a collar so she licked and played around when trying to take it off and still didn't notice any side effects or anything else that stood out to me and worried me. It didn't work after reading other people's reviews of this product, but it worked for us!
