Review on FOUR UNCLES 2L Vacuum Brake Bleeder Kit - Air πŸ”§ Brake Bleeder with 2L Brake Fluid Extractor and 1L Refilling Bottle by John Rocha

Fast/well done.

I struggled to bleed the lines after a complete replacement of the braking system: new Power Stop rotors, carbon/ceramic calipers and pads. My wife was a champion pumper for me and seemingly blister free. I got behind the wheel and the pedal was never hard. I tried the hand pump option I bought because of vacuum issues but it just didn't work. I'll pump the vacuum up to 25-20 mmHg. and vent to 10-5 mm Hg. My hands hurt from pumping and I just didn't have enough fluid/air. The biggest advantage was the bottle to refill the tank. My jeep has a tiny reservoir, with the reservoir I didn't have to constantly get up and check the level and I was able to comfortably pump out a fair amount of brake fluid/air at once. As noted in reviews, there is some airflow around the bleed screw threads, which is to be expected with this method. Just let the air flow while tightening the exhaust valve. Start at the meter farthest from the tank and work your way up to it. I didn't measure exactly how long it took, but all the air was out in a very short time, much quicker than the old way or with a hand pump. I wish I had bought this before I started upgrading the brakes. Next year I will change the fluid again, but this time to DOT4 or DOT5.1.
