Review on Alien Sunshade Jeep Wrangler JK (2007-2018) – Full Length Mesh Sun Shade For Jeep JK 2 Door - Blocks UV by Matt Welch

I wanted to give my product a few weeks before I review it. I released JK Unlimited 2017. I really like this idea because I always take the top off. It partially blocks the sun but not completely, it is not the same as a soft top on a car. Helps mostly in direct sunlight, but sunglasses and a hat are still essential if you need full sun protection. It doesn't fit my 2017 JK. I've watched and adjusted all the Alien Shade videos, but it still doesn't lie flat. I let it cook in the sun to stretch and it didn't help much. If you watch the video, the bungee cords look like they stretch like a dream, while like mine, I almost broke a couple of fingers because they were so tight. I can't wrap the bungee around the back of the jeep because my model has a soundbar and there is no way to get it through the back corner. For 2017 models, the Alien's sun visor needs to be longer so we can wrap it around the rear corners. Overall I still really like it because it's exactly what I need, but I'm giving it 3 stars because it doesn't really match my 2017. There are still pockets for the sun to penetrate, other than what is indicated in the photo.
