We decided to buy this for our daughter when she was only 4 months old as she absolutely hated laying around. She always wanted to get up. It didn't fit well initially, so we put blankets in the back and front. Now at 7 months old she can reach the baits and jump around like crazy. It was very easy to put together, I've been known to struggle with assembly and I was able to do it myself. Like most low priced toys it has a lot of parts that just snap together so that's nice too. The rocker also folds away so you can store it away when not in use. Definitely plan on keeping it as long as she plays with it.
