I bought this to track uptime and scheduled maintenance on a 2000w Port Freight Predator generator I recently purchased. I currently own a Honda EU3000is and a Harbor Freight Predator 3500 and regular maintenance is a must for their longevity. The above picture was taken during the break-in period of the generator and the counter is currently showing just over 50 hours. When I first installed this meter and started the generator, I turned on the stopwatch on my phone to verify accuracy. It measures in 1/10 hour or 6 minute increments, and for the first 3.1 hours I tracked the meter was accurate. For my purposes this is the perfect solution. A few quick notes: This gauge can only be read when there is power to it (aka my alternator is running). Otherwise the display is blank. The counter stores accumulated elapsed time in non-volatile memory, so it keeps track of hours even when it's stored and not powered on. It doesn't have a backlit display, so you'll need a flashlight to read it in the dark. Overall, this is a great little meter.
