Review on 🔌 GE Enbrighten LED Motion Sensor Night Light, Plug-in, 40 Lumens, Soft White, UL-Certified, Energy Efficient, Ideal Nightlight for Bedroom, Bathroom, Kitchen, Hallway, 2 Pack by Jamie Eddington

I had three different motion detection night lights like this one. and we chose these to light the hallway at the base of our stairs to the basement so we don't have to turn on many lights to get to another room. SO we were really hoping for a 25 foot sensor capability. and are not impressed. FROM STRAIGHT FORWARD it CAN be about 20 feet away when you turn it on, but from the side the sensor only picks up about 6 feet and from above, even straight ahead, it picks up about 10 feet at most. This one is a lot brighter than the other one we compared it to, so we rated it. but if we were using the bathroom for our master bedroom we would have swapped for a dimmer version. All in all, it comes down to what you want from it, how much you like it. I gave it 4 stars due to the brightness and the fact that even at 10ft it shoots "higher" and straight ahead, which is about as good as I was hoping, but I'm not thrilled, since i come back to go up the stairs, he doesn't realize i'm there until i get much closer. The one with the "Round Bubble" sensor on the front picks up a lateral distance of at least 12 feet. so i like it, even if the other distance is not more and the light is not so bright. All I've tried is leaving the light on for about 60 seconds after it stops detecting movement, which is fine. I wish we could install it in our master bathroom for a little longer. but it works to give up my hand when I need the light more than 1 minute. ;-)
