Review on 🔌 UL Listed Wall Adapter: Cable Matters 3-Pack 3 Outlet Power Cube Tap - Gray by James Cash

I've used two of these without incident and the third was a spare. I used it for the first time yesterday by plugging in the drill (polarized not grounded) and as soon as I touched the socket of the cube IT SHORTED AND EXPLODED! The brightness of the short was like a .45 magnum muzzle flash. Not only did the short trip my circuit breaker, it also blew a 125A fuse for that half of my home's electrical system — a fuse that can handle a 200kA surge. ! That's 200,000 amps! There was carbon covering everything with 2 inches of contact. I can't imagine how shorting the plug multiplier could have happened, but it could have been fatal!
