We have a two year old goldendoodle, FLOYD, who has been wild and a little quick. A true alpha male, he would jump on us and grab our hands (with his mouth) whenever he wanted attention. Sometimes he would just growl at us and keep pouncing and biting. My hands are still scarred from this behavior. He also barked angrily in the street. As it got bigger, we decided we needed a way to control it, and none of the suggested changes worked. We finally settled on this Sportdog distance trainer and it has been an amazing transformation. We're at the point now where all he has to do is see me pick up the remote and he'll stop his negative behavior. I've only had to use Static a few times when we had a visitor and he wouldn't stop jumping and latching on to them. Otherwise, it responded well to tone correction. We always make sure he wears a collar when we drop him off in the yard so he doesn't bark, jump on the fence or startle our neighbors. I doubted such a device, but realized it was ultimately for Floyd's benefit. I would buy this again.
