A few thoughts I would like to share about Tello; I've had a few cheap drones in the past, all of which were fun, but they just couldn't handle flying and were very difficult to fly around the house. Many claim that they can ascend alone, but this is not true. Now to Tello. This is a drone that takes some getting used to. When you take it out of the box for the first time, chances are you won't read the instructions and you'll be in big trouble. Just don't read. Let me explain: Turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, then open the Tello app. Now before you try to connect Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and mess things up, do this. Open the Tello app, wait for the Tello connection prompt, then connect to the Tello network and return to the app, select the bluetooth controller and you should be good to go. A few days of indoor practice with a roll cage and you'll be flying like a pro. He's floating. You can put the controller down, go to the bathroom, get another yummy drink, and come back and it'll still be hovering in the same place and at the same height. I have invested in several batteries and a propeller guard. The large roll cage is best for learning to fly. With a roll cage it can't really hurt. Samsung goggles are great for VR or FPV. A friend has a Mavic and this drone app is like a stripped down version of that app. Flight time is in slow mode. Very fun to fly and photograph. Outperforms many other drones at the same or higher price. I highly recommend this drone for home and indoor use. Get an outdoor Space, Mini or Mavic. For the price I give this drone 5 stars. The best ratio of price and quality.
