I looked at various HRMs. I saw this product and thought oh great alternative to chest strap models which has good reviews. Then I realized that the positive reviews I read were for the Omron model, which consisted of a chest strap and watch. It's weird and I don't know how that's possible, but somehow this product and another Ring HRM model managed to get positive reviews from other heart rate monitor models - I've never experienced that. with other products I've looked at. If you take the time to look at the reviews, the ring will indeed get BAD reviews.
