Item arrived the next day after ordering. The scale is connected to my iPhone after I downloaded the app from iTunes. Before you step on the scale, you must activate the app on your smartphone so that it syncs automatically. The laser display with blue light contrasts very well with the white color of the dial, which bothered me. When you weigh yourself, the app automatically captures your weight and calculates your biometrics (body fat, subcutaneous fat, bone density, etc.) and saves them so you can see the trend over time. Both feet must be calibrated before each session, other non-bluetooth scales only require a toe touch to calibrate. Not a problem, except when you get out of bed and weigh yourself while tethered - I think all Bluetooth scales are like that. All in all a very good buy for the price.
