At first glance, this belt is light. And the belt width (1.25 inches) is a bit thinner than I expected. The belt buckle mechanism is neat and feels solid. The actual length of the zip pocket is 27 inches. The belt (excluding the buckle) is approximately 47 inches long. I'm thinner so I fold it inside for an extra strap and use an elastic band to secure it. Hidden pocket: I was able to EASILY hide 15 bills/bills in European currency. I used the method [and it's similar to the method used in the product image] to fold the bill twice lengthwise. Then I tucked a bill at the beginning of the zipper and tucked a bill behind the first bill as far as needed. so I can see the denomination of the bill. I would continue this while unzipping. I'm sure this strap could hold 30 bills if you try hard enough. tried the belt on some pants with belt loops. and it seems that if the strap isn't too tight I could pull the zipper down with my finger to open it just enough to access the first bill AND pull the bill out. This can come in handy if you don't want to take the belt off for a quick buck. This belt is excellent value for money. I definitely recommend T
