I bought a set last year - they look great. This year I bought another set mounted on a 10ft tree. Only to find out that this new set doesn't live up to its "fashion". So I set it to PERMANENT - (our lights are set to come on on a timer) - next time the power is turned on the mode reverts to this dumb state cycling through all the blinking and fading options. Resetting means removing the ladder to reset on the cord! Who wants to reset the "mode" every time it's on? You have to take them off to return them. It MUST SAVE THE DISPLAY STATE WHEN SWITCHING ON! WHO WANTS A RESET KIT EVERY NIGHT The kit we bought last year works perfectly
