My kid dropped my laptop on the floor and the screen cracked. I was very frustrated until I found this replacement for only $40. This is a very easy setup if you have basic mechanical skills or have ever opened up a computer. There are some good YouTube videos to help you with this, but take my advice and place a sheet of white paper under the surface you're working on or you'll lose the little screws. I've learned the hard way that getting the job done right on my granite countertop is a bad idea. It took me about 15 minutes to remove the old screen and replace it with the new one.
