I read in reviews that this product does not wash well. Well a previously adopted kitten peed on it so I had no choice but to wash it and it actually turned out to be fine. Some stains have lost some of their shape due to the heat of the dryer, but otherwise looks as before. My current foster child sleeps in it every day. I recommend adding a duvet for optimal comfort :)
