Not perfect, but I like it. Fits well in the hand (ergonomic grip). It cleans the ginger perfectly and is much easier to hold than a spoon. I wish the grater/slicer had a larger surface area/blade but it works. I cut them into equal pieces and they diced them into biscuit cubes, I also got a decent amount of grated ginger. No flaky graters, but this worked just as well as a ceramic grater or micro flat when it comes to real grating. The truth is that I've tried MANY ginger graters (materials and types) and none of them are perfect. This small root is difficult to work with. It may not be a home tool, but it's not useless either. It's small, so it easily fits in a tool box without taking up valuable space.
