This fan is great! Exactly what I was looking for to match dark wood floors. I will say that I wish the blades were a bit longer since I use them in my living room. A filament was also broken. It worked because the bulbs that came with it are "mood lighting" (imagine the lowest dimmed light setting) and I needed them MUCH brighter, so I went to Home Depot to buy new bulbs. The installation was pretty messy because I needed an extended pole (which I bought from Home Depot). However, assembly requires the bottom stem to be 1/4-1/2 inch (I don't remember), and the Home Depot AND Lowe's bottom stem is 0.5 inch larger. I had to do a full MacGyver install because of the pivot, but it worked in the end. Overall I am happy with my purchase for the price I paid.
