I've checked LOTS of shower heads and read reviews. I was looking for one that had an attached head as well as a detachable hand held shower head. I need a detachable one to give my dog the bath he needs weekly so it's a bit of a hassle to do it regularly. I loved my last shower head but I have well water and it's very hard water and it's time to replace it. I'm amazed at how much more I like this one - wish I had gotten it sooner. The 6ft hose makes a huge difference to the 5ft hose I had previously. It's a lot easier to get around and wash my 60lb dog - I still can't believe the difference it makes what this leg is doing. The settings on both heads are universal and it is easy to create the combination you want and change it at any time. Switching the flow from one head to another is very easy. If desired, the flow restrictor could easily be removed. I don't have the hardest water pressure, but I find the pressure on this unit to be very good, even when using both shower heads at the same time. Of course, using only one shower head at a time increases the pressure. I'm 5'5" and what I really like is that the hand control is a foot below the fixed shower head. So my head is under the faucet, great! It was easy to install and the best part is that it does There were no leaks. My plumbing is old and a bit rusty from the hard water. It's been a long time since I've had a shower head that didn't have a tiny leak in the joint. Wow! The most confusing part of the instruction is '12'. Clicks." Once you've installed it, you can pull out the "hand" (holding the PDA). It feels like you're about to break. And when it clicked, I was pretty sure I broke it. But no. , he just placed it a little further out and was perfect at that point. I'm not sure how one person can adjust 12 times, it looks like he's aiming for the ceiling! The arm in which the PDA sits is also adjustable. It's a very hard plastic and again felt like I was breaking it to make it move up or down, but no, it's just made to stay where you want it. The mount is important because it allows you to maneuver the handheld to shower right on your head. Finally, yes, the material is light. it would be great in hard stuff and yes it would be a lot more expensive. I would happily pay more for it if I had more money, but on my budget it's perfect in every way. I in no way feel like it won't last or endure. It looks amazing and I've showered EVERY morning until the hot water ran out since I got it. Did I mention that I really like this shower head?! I'm sure you are too!
