Ideal for under and over closet lighting and dance parties. We got them for our new kitchen renovation project. I really wanted some indirect lighting below and above the cupboard - we have a great room style so the kitchen is visible from the entire floor and additional indirect lighting would really enhance the nighttime atmosphere throughout the great room. Since we only have a siding and not a full renovation, additional electrical work to install the lights and switches just wasn't in the budget. After thorough research and trial/error, we found them and LOVE them. They were easy to install and can be controlled with the remote, the button next to the plug, your phone or Alexa (if you have it - we don't as I don't want Jimmy Kimmel to add an extra pancake mix :) ) Anyway, since our kitchen is in the middle of our great room, it's a lot of fun to sync the lights with the music. Our girls (ages 11 and 9) are having some pretty wild dance parties right now. I bought several sets (6 total) to fit all levels of diff cabinets as well as our living room window sills. One remote control or phone controls them all! This is a great, simple and extremely affordable option for custom lighting in your home. One thing to keep in mind is ACCENT lighting, which should not be confused with task lighting. The LEDs are quite bright, maybe not bright enough to cook a 5 course meal in the evening just using them as a light source, but they are perfect for making coffee or ice cream and dancing parties.
