This is normal with bed pillows and positioning aids
Personally I prefer a 'softer' memory foam, but this headrest feels stiffer than the backrest I bought from the same company. To each their own, but I just wanted to let others know that this support was just hard on my neck/head. The zipper isn't that great either. Took it for a month trip and everything was fine. Then I tried to open the "case" to wash it, but the zipper is complete crap, it broke and doesn't close normally
