I’m typing this review from out in the woods underneath this exact poncho while it’s raining. It’s been overcast today so I had a feeling it might rain. Didn’t feel like carrying my main pack so I just grabbed my axe and saw bag and attached this poncho to it.I‘m using it as a rainfly at the moment and I have to say, you just can’t do any better for this price. The grommets are strong, the material feels decently sturdy as far as ponchos/rainflys go, and most importantly I am dry.I tried it on as a poncho and I’m sure it would work just as well out here in the rain, however, it’s humid as all get out here in Texas so I’m perfectly content sitting under it as a rainfly instead of sweating to death in a poncho.Buy this thing. You seriously will not regret it.
