TLDR: These aren't the strongest boxes and you need to be a little thoughtful about where you place the decorations. Other than that it's great, fits MANY regular/small sizes with irregular shaped ornaments. I would buy again. Last year I bought two small boxes of 36 regular sized pieces each, but this year I bought more pieces again because I need to store them. I decided to try this storage box and am very glad I did. I actually managed to move all of my decorations from the other two boxes, combine them with this year's decorations, and pack them all into one container. That alone really impressed me. The construction of the box is quite simple from the start. It is essentially a canvas bag made from three layers of cardboard with cardboard-reinforced sidewalls. You have the option to place the cardboard slots as you need to decorate your size. If you spread it out evenly, each little cube gets pretty big. He is promoting a 4 inch trinket which I think will be. In one of my pictures I used a 9oz Tommee Tippie as a size reference. For the size of the cubes and ability to accommodate different shapes, this is definitely a five star item. Each cardboard shelf or long insert that runs the length of the box is essentially two pieces glued in half. This certainly reduces the structural integrity of the box. The box is just like that, not curled. I'd say that's a few millimeters better than the card stock used for shirt boxes. They can be pretty flimsy, but they work. There is also no protective cover - only a tarpaulin. You can see my little "helper" leaning against the box in one of my photos, and the ornaments are good to feel. This is definitely a must have for any storage situation and I wouldn't put anything remotely heavy on it. All in all, if I had to read this just for durability I would give it two stars. Now to the main thing: how much does this thing hold? Let's face it, I'm not going to count all my jewelry. Just note that it can probably hold around 1.5 to 2.7 feet of standard and small Christmas tree ornaments. I've shown my first and third layers of embellishment in the picture - I found I could get an average of four regular sized bulbs per cube with about six small bulbs per cube. So if you build it according to the instructions shown, you will have 18 cubes on the shelf. Assuming full-size bulbs with four bulbs per cube, you get 72 full-size bulbs per shelf, or 216 total bulbs. On that basis alone, I think it's totally worth the price. For clean storage at the current price I give it 5 stars. Overall: It's a bit flimsy and I wish there was a layer of cardboard on top to protect the jewelry. It's not perfect so 4 stars vs 5 but for the price and the sheer amount of storage I would definitely buy it again.
