It was very difficult to get it to work. Eventually I found that if I tightened the bolts (that hold the baskets) enough they would prevent the tie rod from breaking. Unfortunately, I think mine broke because the tension rod came in two lengths: either too long and it almost blasted a hole in my ceiling, or two too short and it didn't fit very snugly. After playing around with this for about an hour, I finally installed it and placed all of our shampoo bottles in the baskets. THEN the bottom basket (the largest basket) breaks. There were ONLY 3 bottles of herbal essence shampoo. You know. small. I am extremely disappointed. I know this product is under $40 which is cheap compared to most others but unfortunately it was a waste of time and money.
