Purchased to avoid buying disposable items at the store. According to my calculations, after about ten washes I will start saving money. I'm on my fifth wash and can't believe I didn't get it sooner. I use one every night - one to remove eye makeup and the other to apply toner. They're about as soft as a quality washcloth - certainly soft enough for my face. After washing they look exactly the same as before - my boyfriend even put them in the dryer by mistake and you'll never know. I expect they will last quite a long time as I bought them in black to avoid staining. It's definitely worth the investment, not to mention the landfill space savings.
