I'm a florist and I love the Cool Shot glue gun. I have 6 glue guns of different sizes and shapes and a glue bowl and everything is fine there, but they all hurt (burns), the smell gives me a headache and I'm always afraid to forget that the glue gun is on and burn the place down. I don't worry about a cool shot, it doesn't get hot, never burns, odorless and uses only 10W of power. Please note; I wouldn't buy this glue gun if I'm arranging silk or doing a wedding, it doesn't take many inches of glue, in fact the amount of glue you'll get is very small before it needs to rest and warm up. This is best for quick repairs, quick fix jobs, projects where you need to hold the glue until it sets, like chiffon ribbon. The glue sets very quickly, so you need to have a plan and work quickly. There are no strings of glue, and in a way it's like a plastic seal. It binds, sticks, but can also be removed again with a little work if necessary. It will not melt or burn the item you are sticking. Highly recommended.
