This is the best speaker cable I have ever used. It's heavy gauge 12AWG wire so no surprise but for my application it was very flexible and easy to work with. Banana sticks are great. The silver part can be easily unscrewed and reveals the golden banana plug, which ensures contact with the copper strands with 2 screws. I knew I wanted 30 to 35 feet so I ordered 50 feet with the intention of cutting to the actual length needed. I was pleased to find that banana plugs are so easy to work with. First 2 screws, then cover. I'm no expert on how speaker wire spacing and the AWG of wire used affects speaker performance. I have read many different forums and online help and have taken what I think is correct. I've read some that say you will experience a loss in sound quality regardless of the distance and AWG cable used. So it was more like "trying" for me. And with this 12 AWG cable, about 35 feet long, my rear speakers sound just as clear as my front and center speakers and just as balanced without losing volume. I am very happy with the end result. I'll put it this way: every time I look for speaker cable, this will be my first choice.
