don't know if they work, but my cat eats them
I have the feeling that my older cat (16 years old) became more active after a few months. He had zumi three times last week, he usually leads a sedentary lifestyle. I bought these because he looks a bit stiff when walking and needs help getting up on high surfaces. He loves to eat them so I will continue to feed them to him. I break them into 2 or 3 pieces for easier eating. I give him one with breakfast and sometimes a second one at night before bed. I also bought him a daily multivitamin from the same brand and he loves it too.
