I ordered this product by mistake because of contact dermatitis from a doctor-prescribed medicated patch. In short, the medicine does not get to your skin through the skin preparation. If you are using it to treat sensitivities due to seals around ports, stoma, insulin pumps etc, this material is just great and well worth the price. One application can serve multiple tape applications. Run your finger over the treated area and you will feel that the medication is still there. If it looks bumpy or uneven compared to your skin texture, simply reapply for renewed protection. I have used other Smith and Nephew products and they have proven to be good value compared to other products with similar functionality.
