I like this type of strap, silicone with holes for breathability. I've had several different creators of this group style. My groups usually last 12 to 18 months. But not this one. I bought it in June but didn't start wearing it until October as my last one was nearing completion but not ready yet. But this one fits a little different than my others, but not terribly. Worked great, worn every day until the end broke off the strap yesterday. Once broken, it cannot be repaired, only replaced. Since I had expected a slightly longer service life and otherwise showed no signs of wear, I have not yet ordered a replacement. Mind you if you think I'm wearing it too tight. I followed Fitbit's recommendations for setup. In short, this is a decent group at a great price. If you are very active and do strenuous workouts, spend a little more and get a stronger band. If not, it should be fine. My only complaint is that it wears out too quickly for my needs.
