Build quality is very good, blades are difficult to assemble as hidden screws are difficult to see during assembly. But most of all, I am very disappointed that this fan lacks a higher speed. It seems that the high speed mode of this fan is comparable to the average speed of other brands and it seriously lacks in moving a large amount of air. I have a 60" Hunter fan in my office that blows books off the shelves at high altitudes, while the two fans together at medium speed barely produce any airflow for my single Hunter. Unfortunately, I tend to abandon these two fans due to the time and assembly effort already expended, and don't want to team up to replace them again. Three stars relate primarily to cost, quality, and variety of applications. Assembly and installation takes more time than most, and the performance is frustratingly BAD. If you are looking for a fan to move large volumes of air in a large room, this is NOT the fan you need.
