Did the job, as advertised
I had a tear in my hose from bending it to stop the water flow. I didn't want to throw the whole hose away so I tried these. They worked great! I just cut the hose to remove the section with a tear, and I connected these on either end. It took 5 minutes, and all I needed was a screwdriver. It holds the water pressure with no leaks when I have a nozzle on the hose. I'm very satisfied.
- The gray collar is stout but the brass connection ends are thin. Time will tell.Works so far.
- The zinc clamp is prone to loosening, which can cause the connections to separate
