My cable company gave me a Deco M5 with my internet plan, but they charge a monthly rent for the extra charge, so I bought these two refurbished packages. I have a big 4100sf house, very long. With a device centered indoors, we had dead zones on both ends. Since I had existing Cat6/5e cabling running the length of the house, I placed the downstairs devices equidistant from each other and we now have excellent WiFi coverage throughout the house. I even get a decent connection in our field 200 meters from the nearest router (it helps that we don't have neighbors clogging Wi-Fi radio waves).
