Rarely do I get to say that in a review, but pretty much everything that is said in the product description is true and not an advertisement! It's really refreshing. The straps work really well (never dropped my pants!) and the material is stiff nylon so the straps don't bend or twist like a canvas strap would. They look like military uniforms! While the length is too long for almost any center piece, the ribbon can be trimmed (use a small heat source to melt the fibers after cutting the ribbon to keep it from fraying and looking unfinished). The plastic buckle looks solid and seems to last a long time. The belt itself easily lasts 1000 years. I ordered 3 packs which makes it a very good price.
